Happiness
Diaries - 1
Leaning
against the cold glass, I saw snowy whites furls of clouds being
whisked away by the gentle, thin, mountain air. A neelkanth darted
across the landscape, and strangely, my city weary eyes spotted it in
all its blueness. I knew I could make a wish, for spotting a
neelkanth always makes
a wish come true, or so I believe. But then, I was living my wish in
that instant, not knowing what more to wish for.
I
was traversing the rural lands of the mighty Himalayas, the
natives greeting me with those big grins that stretched right up to
their eyes, which can often be mistaken for just slits.
What else
could a 'happy feet' ask for – nothing. That day, as most of the
other days when I travel, I felt blessed, for living my dream - travelling. I
wonder how many people can do that; undoubtedly, I'm lucky.
Touchwood.
